It is a precision optical instrument designed primarily for educational institutions and laboratories. The system is mounted on a heavy cast iron base to ensure stability and vibration-free operation. All components are manufactured using high-precision machines and fixed on a rigid aluminium base for accurate alignment and reliable performance. The setup includes a beam splitter and compensating plate housed in aluminium, positioned at 45° to two reflecting mirrors. High-quality flat optics with a flatness of at least λ/4 are used, protected with a durable silicon monoxide coating to ensure long life and clear interference fringes.
