Imhoff sediment cone is a tall, narrow, graduated glass vessel used primarily for measuring the volume of sediment in water or wastewater samples. It is designed to allow solids to settle by gravity, facilitating easy quantification of suspended solids over time. This cone features a sharp tip at the bottom to aid sediment collection and easy emptying. The graduations are finely marked for precise volume readings, allowing measurements from very small amounts up to the full capacity.

    • 0 to 1 ml in 0.1 ml divisions
    • 1 to 10 ml in 0.5 ml divisions

  • Additional graduation marked at approximately 1000 ml (total volume capacity)
  • Total height approximately 454 mm for sufficient settling time and volume capacity
