This Apparatus consists of a Germanium crystal mounted on a PCB with four connectors and banana plug leads. It is supplied with a constant current power supply (0–20 mA) featuring digital meters for measuring Hall voltage and crystal current. A digital Gauss meter (0–20 kGauss) with an Indium Arsenide Hall probe is included for magnetic field measurement. The setup is completed with a wooden stand to hold the probe and crystal assembly securely between the poles of an electromagnet.

Technical Specifications

Germanium crystal mounted on a PCB and fitted with four connectors/probes. Four connecting wires with banana plug terminations are provided for crystal connections.
A constant current power supply with a current range of 0–20 mA is supplied, equipped with two digital meters to measure Hall voltage and crystal current. Banana sockets are provided for easy connection to the crystal.
A digital Gauss meter with a measuring range of 0–20 kGauss is included. The instrument offers two scale ranges of 2 kGauss. The Hall probe is fabricated from highly pure Indium Arsenide crystal, encapsulated in a non-magnetic sheet of approximate dimensions 5 mm × 4 mm × 1 mm, and connected via a three-foot cable. A removable protective cap is provided for the probe.
A wooden stand is supplied to securely hold the probe and crystal assembly between the two poles of the electromagnet.
