They are housed in a rectangular metal case with insulated base, designed for detecting and measuring electric charges. Fitted with removable glass panels and disc electrode, it provides a clear view of leaf deflection for studying electrostatic phenomena.

  • Disc electrode insulated from the metal body using a moulded plastic bush to prevent charge leakage.
  • Plated metal blade under the bush for fixing gold leaves securely.
  • Side earthing terminal provided for grounding.
  • Sliding clear glass front allows easy insertion of ionizing material and fixing of leaves.
  • Circular acrylic scale (0°–90°) inside chamber for charge comparison by deflection.
  • Supplied complete with one pair of gold leaves.
