Generates charge on a highly polished spherical dome via motor-driven rollers and a flat rubber belt, suitable for demonstrating various phenomena of static electricity.

Technical Specifications

  • Compact, motor-driven assembly with insulated Perspex pillar.
  • Smooth, one-piece metallic dome, polished and free of sharp edges to minimize charge leakage.
  • Continuous charge transfer through specially designed collecting combs.
  • Operates on AC mains 220–240V, 50/60Hz with fused input and indicator ON/OFF switch.
  • Generates electric potential up to 200 kV with spark length up to 70 mm under favorable conditions.
  • Equipped with 4 mm socket terminal for earthing and 4 mm insert on dome for charge transfer or accessory connection.
  • Adjustable critical components for optimum performance.
  • Supplied with earthed discharge sphere mounted on a long insulated handle.
