Technical Specifications

  • Rigid construction with attractive design and simple operation.
  • Large moment of inertia in the moving system for accurate charge measurement.
  • Deflection closely proportional to the electric charge.
  • Suitable for direct deflection measurements proportional to current.
  • Can be used as both ballistic and steady-state instruments.
  • Equipped with a mechanism to make the galvanometer aperiodic by adding resistance in parallel to the moving coil.
  • Zero adjusting and locking devices included; phosphor-bronze suspension strip prevents zero shift.
  • Moving coil carries a specially polished concave silver mirror (100 cm focal length) for use with AGN lamp and scale arrangements.
