Pendulum ’g’ by free fall method

Pendulum ’g’ by free fall method

Model No: AGN-131
This apparatus is designed to measure the acceleration due to gravity (g) using the free fall method. It includes an electronic timer unit with four 4 mm sockets—two for sensors (gates) and two for the solenoid. A toggle switch controls the release and catch of a steel ball. The heavy retort stand supports two base boards: one holds the solenoid with banana sockets, which magnetically holds the steel ball when the switch is on ‘Catch’. When switched to ‘Release’, the solenoid deactivates, dropping the ball onto a steel base below. The timer records the fall time accurately.
