Melde’s Apparatus OSAW Pattern

Melde’s Apparatus OSAW Pattern

Model No: AGN-1247
It is designed for demonstrating standing waves in a laboratory setup. It features a powerful tuning fork vibrating at approximately 60 Hz, mounted on a heavy cast iron base for stability. An electromagnet is positioned between the prongs of the fork (without touching it) to drive oscillations, and a spring-type strip attached to one prong allows precise electrical contact for operation. This apparatus enables clear visualization of standing wave patterns along a string.
