    • Index Scale for tuning the analyser into the azimuth.
    • Vernier Scale for measuring the degree of orientation of the wedge box.
  • Wedge Box: Contains two quartz wedges cut with optical axes in mutually perpendicular directions.
  • Movable Long Wedge: Adjusted by a precision micrometer drum.
  • Micrometer Screw with a least count of 0.001 cm, ensuring highly accurate readings.
