Advanced Travelling Microscopes (Deluxe Model Tc13, XYZ motion)

Model No: AGN-1668
For certain measurements it is more convenient to provide sliding motion to the microscope tube across the stage, in addition to all other usual movements. (This microscope is very useful in Newton’s ring experiment and graph reading etc.) A sliding carriage is fitted on the top carriage which moves at right angle to the horizontal motion by means of rack and pinion. This motion is also graduated in mm with a vernier reading of 0.1mm. Supplied in a superior quality wooden box.

Product Description

The Advanced Travelling Microscope (Deluxe Model TC13, XYZ Motion) from AGN Enterprises is a precision optical instrument designed for accurate measurement of small distances and minute displacements in physics and optics laboratory experiments. Its XYZ motion provides horizontal, vertical, and transverse movement, allowing precise positioning of the microscope along three axes. Travelling microscopes are commonly used for measurements requiring fine positioning and vernier readings.

The instrument is suitable for physics laboratories, optics laboratories, schools, colleges, universities, engineering institutes, and research laboratories. Moreover, the TC13 Deluxe model is particularly useful for experiments such as Newton’s rings and graph reading, where controlled transverse movement and precise observation are required.

Advanced Travelling Microscope TC13 Features

AGN Enterprises offers the Advanced Travelling Microscope TC13 with a three-axis movement arrangement for flexible experimental positioning. Furthermore, the transverse carriage moves at right angles to the horizontal motion through a rack-and-pinion mechanism and incorporates a graduated scale with fine vernier reading.

The travelling microscope arrangement enables accurate positioning of the cross-hair over reference points and precise measurement of displacement. In addition, its fine adjustment and focusing mechanism make it suitable for laboratory experiments requiring accurate optical observations.

Applications of Advanced Travelling Microscope

The TC13 XYZ Motion Travelling Microscope is suitable for measuring small distances and displacements and for practical experiments involving optical and geometrical measurements. It can be used for Newton’s rings, graph reading, refractive index studies, capillary diameter measurements, liquid-level measurements, and other precision laboratory experiments.

Therefore, it provides a versatile laboratory instrument for students and researchers who need controlled three-axis movement and accurate optical positioning.
