PASCAL’S APPARATUS

PASCAL’S APPARATUS

Pascal’s Apparatus is a precision-designed educational instrument used to demonstrate Pascal’s Law and the concept of hydrostatic pressure in fluids. It shows that the pressure at the base of a liquid column depends only on the height of the liquid and not on the shape or volume of the container.

The apparatus typically consists of three differently shaped vessels with identical base areas, mounted on a common base, allowing clear comparison and verification of the hydrostatic paradox.
