Technical Specifications

This model, enlarged approximately 30 times, compares normal skin with first, second, and third degree burn injuries, clearly demonstrating the progressive tissue damage. The first-degree burn shows injury limited to the epidermis with erythema. The second-degree burn involves deeper damage to the epidermis and dermis with vesicle (blister) formation. The third-degree burn shows severe destruction extending into subcutaneous tissue.
