It is designed for precise tissue sectioning at low temperatures. It is supplied with both high-profile and low-profile blade holders, along with a glass/Perspex anti-roll plate. The instrument features a Peltier-element cooling system that maintains a cooling temperature of −40 °C ± 5 °C for continuous operation, ensuring stable conditions and preventing unwanted freezing.
