Mediastinum

This life-size, 6-part model provides a detailed anatomical representation of the thoracic region. It includes a 2-part heart that reveals the internal chambers and valves for clear study of cardiac structure and function. The sternum and thymus are removable, exposing the pericardial sac along with the major pulmonary and systemic blood vessels.

The model also shows the trachea and esophagus entering the mediastinum through the superior thoracic aperture, while the diaphragm clearly defines the inferior thoracic aperture. It offers an accurate view of thoracic anatomy and organ relationships, making it ideal for medical education and demonstration. The model is mounted on a board for stable display.
