The Inverted & Reflected Fluorescence Microscope combines an inverted microscope with a reflected fluorescence microscope. It is equipped with long working distance plan achromatic objectives and wide-field eyepieces. For inverted observations, long working distance phase contrast objectives and a specialized long working distance condenser with a phase contrast unit can be used. The fluorescence excitation system can also be easily switched as needed.

Technical Specifications

  • Optical System: Infinity-corrected, color-corrected system for maximum signal-to-noise ratio and optimal optical performance from UV to near-infrared.
  • Eyepieces: Wide-field WF10× (22 mm/25 mm) with anti-fungal and anti-reflection coating.
  • Objectives: Long working distance plan achromatic objectives:
    • PL L 10×/0.25, 25×/0.40, 40×/0.60
    • Phase contrast variants: PL L 10×/0.25 PHP2, 25×/0.40 PHP2, 40×/0.60 PHP2

  • Illumination:
    • Transmitted high-contrast LED illumination: 5 W/15 W, long-life, constant color temperature 6500 K, suitable for brightfield and phase contrast with IPC technology.
    • 6 V/30 W halogen transmitted illumination with brightness control.
  • Fluorescence Unit:
    • Three- or four-position fluorescence slider with excitation filter sets for Blue, Green, and UV (FITC, TRITC, DAPI dyes).
    • 100 W mercury lamp with external power supply.
    • Reflected light fluorescence illuminator with field stop; stray light and auto-fluorescence reduction; violet optional.
  • Phase Contrast: Complete unit including long working distance condenser, phase contrast objectives, and centering telescope.
  • Microscope Frame: Compatible with cell culture hoods under UV light.
  • Filters: Frosted, blue, interference green contrast, ND daylight filters.
