A large-scale transformer designed for classroom demonstrations, allowing students to explore transformer operation and multiple transformation ratios. The coils are fitted with intermediary outputs, providing various voltage and current ratios for educational experiments.

Technical Specifications

Construction:
  • Magnetic Circuit: Made of highly permeable U-shaped metal sheets, secured with two clamps and tightening screws.
    • Section: 40 × 40 mm
    • Length: 150 mm
    • Height: 170 mm
Coils:
  1. 6000-turn coil – 350 Ω, maximum current 0.2 A, with intermediary 2000-turn output.
  2. 600-turn coil – maximum current 2.5 A, primarily used as transformer primary, supplied with power cable.
  3. 1200-turn coil – 12.5 Ω, maximum current 1.25 A, with intermediary 400 & 800-turn outputs.
  4. 72-turn coil – maximum current 12 A, with intermediary outputs at 6, 30, 54, and 66 turns.
  • Clamp with Pulley: Included (weights not provided).
