Copper Voltameter

It consists of three copper plates suspended from a moulded bakelite cover, housed in a durable plastic jar. The two outer plates (called “Loss Plates”) are connected to one binding post, while the inner plate (called the “Gain Plate”) connects to the other binding post. The setup ensures that all plates are firmly held in position when clamped, yet are easy to insert or remove.
