The Anderson Bridge is specifically designed to accurately measure the value of an unknown inductance.The entire setup is enclosed in a strong ABS plastic case and includes all the necessary components required for operating the bridge effectively.
Built-in Features:
* AC Source: The device has an internal 1 kHz sine-wave oscillator.
There is an indicator lamp to show when the AC power is connected, and two output jacks are provided for connecting the AC signal.
* Null Detector: A highly sensitive digital null detector is included to detect very small AC output signals and achieve precise balance in the bridge.
* Circuit Layout: The circuit diagram is clearly printed on the panel with a well-organized layout that makes it easy to understand and use.
The panel includes standard 4 mm sockets for easy connection of components.
Bridge Components:
* R: This consists of two resistance ranges, 100 Ω and 10 Ω, along with a continuously adjustable resistor that can be set from 0 to 100 Ω, all connected in series.
* r: This includes three resistance ranges: 10 Ω to 1000 Ω, 10 Ω to 100 Ω, and 10 Ω to 10 Ω, allowing for fine adjustments in resistance.
* P and Q: These are fixed resistors, each with a value of 1000 Ω.
* C: Two fixed, low-loss capacitors, with values of 0.1 µF and 0.2 µF, are provided for use in balancing the bridge and measuring inductance.
This configuration allows for precise and dependable measurement of unknown inductance values, and it offers a clear visual layout suitable for both educational purposes and laboratory use.
