Other specifications are same as that of Cat. No. 1208, only brass parts are replaced with aluminum parts

Construction: Resonance box made of superior quality teak wood (1140 × 125 × 100 mm).
Scale: Meter scales, one meter long, subdivided in millimeters.
Wires: One brass wire (S.W.G. 26) and one steel wire (S.W.G. 24) provided, attached to a fixed bridge with fine adjustment pegs.
Bridges: Two movable bridges to vary the vibrating length of the wire.
Pulley System: Pulley with fixed screw for attaching a third wire for tensioning by weights.
Material Quality: All metal fittings made of aluminum (instead of brass in Cat. No. 1208).
