Technical Specifications

  1. Platinum Wire:
    • Fine platinum wire of approximately 2.8 Ω resistance
    • Non-inductively wound on a mica frame for stability
  2. Leads & Terminals:
    • Stout copper leads soldered to the wire
    • Pair of compensating leads provided for accurate measurements
    • All four leads connected to mounted terminals on an engraved insulating panel
  3. Mounting & Protection:
    • Mica resistance frame mounted on cork
    • Stainless steel tube fitted over the assembly for protection
    • Suitable for temperature work due to soft-soldered connections
