This bridge is very suitable for the use of wires & cable manufacturers. It is being extensively used for finding the resistance of transformer winding, contact resistance of relays etc.

Technical Specifications

  1. Standard Resistance:
    • 10 coils of 0.01 Ω each arranged on a rotary dial
    • Circular slide wire of total resistance 0.01 Ω with 500 subdivisions, each subdivision equal to 0.00002 Ω on normal range
  2. Multiplying Ratios:
    • Single rotary switch provides 5 multiplying ratios: X100, X10, X1, X0.1
  3. Range of Measurement:
    • From 2 µΩ to 11 Ω
  4. Panel & Terminals:
    • Bakelite panel enclosed in a teak wood box
    • Separate current and potential terminals, battery and galvanometer terminals
    • Push buttons for battery and galvanometer control
  5. Current Handling:
    • Max. Current: 10 A intermittently, 5 A continuously
  6. Accuracy:
    • ±0.5% at 5 A, up to 10 A

    • High-precision Manganin coils for stability and accuracy
