This cell is steady & reliable and may be used as open or close circuit works. It consists of a zinc rod immersed in a very dilute solution of sulphuric acid in an empty porous pot which in turn, is immersed in copper sulphate solution. This cell consists of copper sulphate solution. This cell consist of copper pot of approx. Size 5½” x 3½”. Chemicals are not included(only copper pot Daniel cell ofSize5½”x 3½”, empty porous pot and zinc rod is provided.

Technical Specifications

  • Provides a steady and reliable source of current, suitable for both open and closed circuit operations.
  • Comprises a zinc rod placed in a dilute sulphuric acid solution contained within an empty porous pot.
  • The porous pot is immersed in a copper sulphate solution held in a copper pot.
  • Supplied with a copper pot (approx. size 5½” × 3½”), one empty porous pot, and a zinc rod.
