Tissue Culture Rack is specially designed for controlled plant growth and in-vitro propagation of plant tissues in laboratory environments. It features a multi-shelf system with integrated lighting, mobility, and optional automation for light cycle control. Available in both Mild Steel (powder-coated) and Stainless Steel (SS 304) options to suit various lab conditions.

Technical Specifications

Construction:
  • Fabricated from Mild Steel (with epoxy powder coating) or Stainless Steel (SS 304) for superior corrosion resistance and durability.
  • Each shelf measures 48″ x 18″, providing ample space for culture bottles, jars, or trays.
Lighting System:
  • Each shelf is fitted with:
    • 4 × 25W incandescent lamps – enhancing radiation in the red spectrum to support photosynthesis.
    • 4 × 40W fluorescent tubes – providing white light for uniform illumination and optimal plant growth.
  • Individual switching arrangement per shelf for energy saving and flexible light management.
Energy Efficiency & Control:
  • Energy-saving design allows operation of selected tiers only as required.
  • Optional provision to connect the rack to a photometric timer/controller, enabling automatic light cycle scheduling.
Mobility & Stability:
  • Mounted on casters/wheels for easy movement within the lab.
  • Lockable wheels for secure placement during operation.
Electrical Requirements:
  • Operates on standard 220/230V AC, 50 Hz power supply.
